Ephesians 1:13 States that ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth. We have to first put our complete trust in
Christ, and believe or accept what he has told us, we were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.
Ephesians 1:19 states that what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe. We must believe in what he
tells us about him, and our Son-ship no matter how we fell or think about ourselves.
Luke 3:15-38 key verses 16, 21, 22 and 38
John stated that Jesus came to baptize his followers with the Holy Ghost
Holy Ghost- Fire, power of the Father, & Son. Helper. We see through the eyes of the Holy Spirit that the Father- Son
relationship is viewed.
Verse 21 says that heaven was opened in order for God to reveal to his people who he is and who they are heaven must be
opened. God must Open the door so his people can truly see what riches that they have in Christ Jesus.
Verse 22 states that the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him.
Bodily shape- will fit all who were chosen to represent him. In every situation in life that we may encounter, every test and trial
that we will go through the Holy Ghost will help us. It fits like a glove and covers us completely, the spirit fits you perfectly.
Dove- represents peace, expresses affection, and travels long distances, love, forgiveness, and innocence, gentle in nature.
The Holy Ghost is our peace in trying times it came to us in peace, not with a loud noise announcing it self, vaulting itself. The
Holy Ghost travels long distances, it can be all over the world, it is in all of his followers at the same time is omnipotent, and
Jesus genealogy starting at verse 23 and ending at verse 38 says that that Adam was the Son of God. All of Gods people are
related, and Jesus is the savior of the world.
John recognized Jesus by the spirit. God recognizes all of his people by the spirit; we recognize each other by the same spirit.
No know man after the flesh. 2 Corinthians 5:16 we have known Christ after the flesh he wants his people to now know him by
the spirit, not led by what we think or feel but by his spirit., the eyes of your understanding being enlightened Ephesians 1:18.
When we start to know Christ after the spirit you will see the treasure that you have in God, and not looking or searching for the
negative things in yourselves or others most of the time. You will love and appreciate what he has done for you. You will want
to draw closer to him more and more every day.
Luke 4: 16-22 Jesus tried to reveal himself to his people; he read the word and tried to open it up for them. Jesus wanted to
heal, deliver, preach, and recover the sight to the blind. The people realized that this word that was read was different than
before the word burned in them the people's eyes were fastened on him. He told them this day the scripture is fulfilled in yours
ears. What great words spoken by him. But something happened the word burned on the outside but they would not allow it to
penetrate they hearts, they allowed flesh to enter in and know him after the flesh. They said is this not Joseph's son. We are
not even going to talk about others not receiving him. How about us? We read on and we see that as he began to speak on
they were filled with wrath and thrust him out of the city.
How many times has God tried to reveal himself to you and you allowed you mind to say that you are Joseph's son. I
remember how I grew up, what I am going through, my many failures and you once again know Jesus after the flesh. After God
heals you and moves in you the enemy will always try to get you to accept your natural birth and reject your spiritual birth. So
many time we remind God of our past , like he doesn't know it. Paul refused to allow sin to define who he was in God. Romans
7: 18-20 He was not making excuses for sin, but he knew that the spirit of God was in him and stronger than what was in his
flesh. We tend to allow our sin to define who we are, not allowing his power and forgiveness to cleanse us. The people tried to
thus Jesus headlong out of the city but he passed through the midst of them. Jesus will try to reveal himself to you and we just
keep making excuses why we can't receive him, so we will cast him out with our negative thinking. You cannot grasp hold to
the spirit with a fleshly mind he will past right by you to someone who will receive him.
Capernaum received his word and was
changed, so let's be Capernaum. Some of you might say that that was Jesus I am not or will ever be like him, so let's explore
this further. John 19:26&27 says that when Jesus was on the cross he said to Mary woman behold thy son! Then saith he to
the disciple, Behold thy mother. And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. Jesus was going back to the
father so he told Mary that John was now her son he had to be like Jesus living up to all of the responsibilities that come with
being like Jesus. He also hath to take care of Mary which is the church. John was obedient and did exactly what Jesus said
and he was greatly blessed. Accept what God is trying to show you.
Quit trying to make excuse's stand up and become the Son of God through the spirit.
1John 3:2 says that it now we are the
Sons of God it doth not appear what we shall be. We tend to view ourselves in the past or present thus not allowing the Holy
Spirit to take control of our lives, the way God wants to. You are not a finished product it doth not appear what we shall be. We
have to press on in faith, believing and trusting in God. We are going to see him just as he it. Every man that hath this hope in
him purifieth himself even as he is pure. Allow this hope become reality by trusting, believing, and accepting the truth about
being his son and the responsibility that God has given to us because he knows that you can do all things though Christ.
2 Corinthian's 4:6,7
God commanded the light to shine out of darkness you have no choice if you truly love God he will shine through you even in
trying times. He wants to reveal to you who you are in the face of Jesus Christ vs-6.
vs -7 we have this treasure in earthen vessels, in weakness, sadness, tears, frustrations, our sin not believing or trusting him,
are up's and down's in salvation yes we still have this treasure in this body. God can and will get the glory so that the world will
see what God can do to a willing vessel allowing and accepting him completely.
Thank you Jesus
